The AirMaks Katran-B Compact is a mechanical PCP air rifle built for shooters who demand true compact handling without sacrificing accuracy. Designed in .177 and .22 calibres at sub-12 ft·lbs power, it delivers precision performance in a highly manoeuvrable format, making it ideal for hunting, pest control and range use alike.
At the heart of the Katran-B Compact is its rear-mounted 300cc air bottle, creating a well-balanced shooting platform while providing excellent air efficiency. Filled to 300 bar, the regulated system produces approximately 220 shots in .177 and 180 shots in .22, ensuring extended sessions between refills. The inclusion of a Huma-Air precision regulator maintains consistent pressure and velocity, resulting in superb shot-to-shot consistency.
The rifle features a smooth biathlon-style side-lever action, reversible for right- or left-handed use, allowing fast and effortless cycling. An adjustable two-stage mechanical trigger provides a crisp, predictable break with external adjustment for fine tuning. The manual AR15-style safety catch, also reversible, ensures intuitive and secure operation.
Compact in stature yet full-featured, the Katran-B measures approximately 780 mm in length and weighs around 2.6 kg unscoped, offering outstanding handling in the field. The lightweight tactical stock is fitted with an adjustable cheekpiece and butt pad, enabling a tailored and comfortable shooting position. A free-floating precision barrel enhances accuracy, while the integrated 20 MOA Picatinny optics rail and 1/2″ UNF threaded muzzle make it ready for optics and moderator fitment.
Supplied with a high-capacity rotary magazine holding 18 shots in .177 and 16 shots in .22, along with a single-shot tray for deliberate shooting, the AirMaks Katran-B Compact combines modern tactical styling with dependable mechanical performance in a truly compact, field-ready package.
