The AirMaks UK Katran Pro Compact in .177 and .22 is an advanced mechanical PCP air rifle engineered for exceptional balance, control and precision. Designed around the Compact Pro C configuration, this model features a shortened 165cc air system that reduces overall length while maintaining impressive shot consistency, making it ideal for pest control and precision shooting within the UK’s sub-12 ft·lbs legal limit.
At the heart of the Katran Pro Compact is a CNC-machined aluminium tactical chassis, delivering a rigid, minimalist platform with modern aesthetics and outstanding durability. The compact layout, measuring approximately 780mm in length and weighing around 2.86–3.2kg unscoped, provides superb manoeuvrability in the field without compromising stability on aim. Its ambidextrous configuration ensures comfortable handling for both right- and left-handed shooters.
Performance is enhanced by an externally adjustable regulator, allowing fine tuning of output and efficiency without the need for disassembly, ensuring consistent shot-to-shot accuracy. The smooth short-throw side-lever action offers fast, positive cycling and effortless pellet indexing, while the fully adjustable two-stage trigger delivers a crisp and predictable release tailored to your preference.
The rifle operates on a 300-bar high fill pressure system, maximising usable air capacity and reducing refill frequency. In .177 calibre, shooters can expect approximately 120–150 shots per fill depending on tuning, with high-capacity rotary magazines offering up to 18 shots in .177 and 16 shots in .22. A single-shot tray is included for deliberate precision work.
An integrated Picatinny scope rail with built-in cant ensures compatibility with a wide range of optics while optimising elevation adjustment for longer-range shooting.
