The AirMaks Katran Sub Compact is an ultra-compact, regulated PCP air rifle designed for agile field performance at sub-12 ft·lbs. Featuring a Huma-Air precision regulator, biathlon-style side-lever action, and a two-stage adjustable trigger, it delivers exceptional consistency and fast follow-up shots. Its lightweight tactical chassis with adjustable cheekpiece and butt pad ensures a tailored fit, while the 20 MOA Picatinny rail and 1/2″ UNF threaded muzzle make it fully accessory-ready for serious shooters.
The AirMaks Katran Sub Compact is an ultra-compact, mechanically regulated PCP air rifle built for shooters who demand agility without sacrificing precision. Designed around a shortened chassis and compact, free-floating barrel, it delivers outstanding manoeuvrability in the field while maintaining the accuracy expected from a premium sub-12 ft·lbs platform. At approximately 700 mm in length and just 2.2 kg unscoped, the Katran Sub Compact is exceptionally lightweight and perfectly balanced, making it ideal for fast-handling pest control and confined shooting environments.
Available in .177 (4.5 mm) and .22 (5.5 mm), the rifle operates from a 300 bar, 200 cc air system regulated by a Huma-Air precision regulator, ensuring consistent pressure delivery and superb shot-to-shot stability. Expect approximately 180–220 shots per fill in .177 and 140–170 shots per fill in .22, delivering impressive efficiency from such a compact system.
The Katran’s biathlon-style side-lever action provides smooth, rapid cycling for quick follow-up shots, while the high-capacity rotary magazine holds 18 rounds in .177 and 16 rounds in .22. A single-shot tray is also included for deliberate benchrest or precision shooting. The two-stage adjustable mechanical trigger offers a crisp, predictable release with user adjustment for fine control.
Ergonomics are equally refined. The lightweight tactical chassis stock features an adjustable cheekpiece and butt pad, allowing a fully customised shooting position. An AR15-style reversible safety catch and changeable side-lever configuration make the rifle suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters. The platform is accessory-ready, complete with a 20 MOA Picatinny optics rail and a 1/2″ UNF threaded muzzle for moderator fitment.
