At the heart of the rifle is a 300 cc bottle-fed PCP air system paired with a Huma-Air precision regulator, ensuring stable pressure delivery and dependable shot-to-shot consistency. With a 300 bar fill pressure, the Krait Standard offers impressive efficiency, delivering approximately 250–280 shots per fill in .177 calibre and 200–220 shots per fill in .22 calibre at the UK legal limit of 12 ft·lbs. This regulated airflow provides smooth performance across extended shooting sessions, making the rifle both economical and highly capable.
Operation is quick and intuitive thanks to the smooth side-lever cocking mechanism, which allows fast cycling with minimal effort and enables rapid follow-up shots.
