DESCRIPTION

The Best Fittings Extended 30mm QC02 Female Socket – 1/8" BSP Male Thread has been specifically designed to solve one of the most common frustrations when filling pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifles: accessing deeply recessed fill nipples. With a significantly extended 30mm release collar, this upgraded coupler allows shooters to easily connect and disconnect from recessed “Foster Type” fill nipples without the need for a separate coupler release tool.

Unlike standard couplers, which typically feature a 10.5mm release collar, this extended design provides far greater reach and improved grip, making it ideal for rifles with deep recess stocks or fill ports positioned inside air tubes.

This socket is particularly well suited for FX rifles with deep recessed stocks, as well as Daystate and Brocock models with recessed fills, early Theoben “Swift” and “Dr Bob’s” style quick-fill systems, and BSA Superten rifles. It is also compatible with converted air tubes where the fill nipple has been installed in place of the pressure gauge at the recessed end of the cylinder.

Built to industry standards, the coupler features a 1/8″ BSP male thread, making it compatible with the vast majority of UK fill lines, pumps, and air cylinders. A 1/8″ NPT threaded version is also available for users following the US standard.

Engineered for durability and reliability, the QC02 socket is safe for use on all pre-charged equipment up to a maximum working pressure of 340 bar (5000 psi) when used with breathing air.
