The FX DRS Tactical 500mm is a compact, AR-15-inspired PCP air rifle built for sub-12 ft·lbs UK compliance. It features a 500mm barrel, 210cc over-barrel air cylinder for balance, and the AMP MKII regulator for consistent performance. A fully adjustable match trigger, 30 MOA Picatinny rail, and ambidextrous side-lever deliver precision and versatility. Supplied with a low-profile mini magazine, it allows for low optic mounting. No buttstock or buffer tube is included, making it ideal for custom tactical setups.

The FX DRS Tactical 500mm Air Rifle redefines compact precision in a modern tactical form, offering serious sub-12 ft·lbs performance for UK shooters. Available in both .177 and .22 calibre, this pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifle draws heavy inspiration from the AR-15 platform, combining military styling with advanced engineering for target shooters and small game hunters alike.
At its core is a 500mm barrel paired with a 210cc over-barrel air cylinder, a design that lowers the centre of gravity while improving barrel harmonics and handling. This clever layout ensures excellent balance, especially when shooting offhand or in dynamic scenarios. The AMP MKII regulator guarantees superb shot-to-shot consistency, making every pull of the trigger feel deliberate and reliable.
The DRS Tactical features a fully adjustable two-stage match-grade trigger, allowing fine-tuned control over travel, weight, and engagement. This is complemented by a reversible side-lever cocking mechanism for ambidextrous use, ensuring comfort and speed regardless of shooting hand. The rifle also includes an adjustable tungsten hammer and concealed modular power plenum, engineered for optimal pellet and slug performance within sub-12 ft·lbs limits.
A low-profile mini magazine, 16-shot in .177, 14-shot in .22, enhances scope mounting options by keeping optics tight to the bore. This is paired with a one-piece Picatinny rail featuring a 30 MOA incline, providing generous elevation adjustment for long-range precision.
Please note: this model does not include a buttstock or buffer tube, allowing shooters to fully customise their rear setup to suit individual preferences or tactical configurations. It includes a manual lever safety with bolt-open interlock, Foster-style quick-fill valve, and achieves around 150–180 shots per fill, depending on calibre and tuning.
