The Leofoto SA-364CL + MA-30L Carbon Fibre Rapid Lock Tripod features a Rapid Lock system, which enhances security with a unique safety stop mechanism. This system includes a 5mm diameter steel pin that engages with 5.5mm holes in the rail, supplementing the traditional friction-based clamping method. This ensures that the rail remains firmly in place, preventing any unintentional repositioning when the rapid lock is engaged. Additionally, the all-in-one double clamp design simplifies usage: the large clamp is for Arca-compatible plates, while the smaller clamp is tailored for gun rails.

The tripod boasts a compact apex design, significantly smaller than other tripods with similar maximum tube size and height, allowing for greater portability. Constructed from Toray 100% 10-layer carbon fibre, the leg tubes feature a cross rhombus structure, offering exceptional strength, stability, and reduced vibration. At just 2kg, the tripod is ideally suited for travellers and those on the move. Its semi-automatic angle stop mechanism enables effortless leg adjustment: simply pull out the angle stop, set the leg to your desired angle, and the mechanism will lock it into place. The tripod provides three adjustable angles of 23°, 55°, and 85°.

The tripod’s legs utilise a twist lock mechanism that ensures quick and secure locking with just a quarter turn. Its replaceable feet cater to various terrains, with standard rubber feet for indoor use and spiked feet for softer ground such as mud or gravel. The reinforced aluminium alloy inner core and 3/8” stainless steel screw thread allow for easy replacement of different types of feet. A single-piece shim enhances durability and ease of maintenance compared to traditional two-piece designs.
