"I have been shooting for many years, but just at the start of 2022 I became involved in indoor 25yards rimfire benchrest shooting. Tried a variety of scopes including Leupold 45x45 Competition, and a Nikko Stirling Diamond 'Big Nikko' 10-50x60. They worked, but still not quite 'right'. Bought a new Sightron Sll 36x42 from Optics Warehouse, and it arrived safely and reasonably quickly in New Zealand. Now...this was a better scope. My scores went up a notch and I could see those wee target dots OK. But I only bought that scope because it was at a price level where I could get it into NZ without being hammered by the Customs fees. Thought about it for a few weeks and returned to the Optics Warehouse site where I bought the scope I really wanted...the Sightron SIII 45x45 SFP ED SF TD Non-IR Rifle Scope. It too arrived quickly and safely, and soon adorned my CZ457 24" Varmint rifle (with Oryx chassis, and Lowey barrel tuner). 'Wow' is the word. So crisp and clear. The 36x42 was fine and quite OK, the 45x45 with that ED glass is superb. Can easily see those wee 1mm and 2mm dots at 25yards (this is on a 'fun' target we shoot as a novelty..but it's hard work! A 1mm dot at 25yards needs a seriously good scope to see it). One of the older shooters at the Club (I'm only 75), asked for a look through the scope and he too went 'Wow'...and next day ordered his own Sightron SIII 45x45 SFP ED SF TD scope. The 1/10th MOA clicks allows for a finer adjustment on to those tiny 1mm/2mm target dots, and the clarity of the view is streets ahead of other scopes I have used over the years. Certainly a lot sharper and clearer than the Leupold or 'Big Nikko', and a genuine step up from the Sightron 36x42 (which is a good scope anyway). Very pleased with the purchase.
